Our Spring Break Road Trip...Day 1

These pics are the product of the Stone Family photo journalists of the first day of our road trip. Absolutely beautiful weather! I had hoped to get more pics, but I was driving as Greg was recovering from chemo this morning. He was able to sleep for a few hours. We left at 1pm and arrived in Pismo Beach at 6:45. Stunning scenery, good music and best of all...Greg is feeling better tonight! We walked a few blocks from the RV park to a fish & chips joint in downtown...only 1 block from the beach. We are already talking about planning Pismo as our next destination for a long weekend.

Anyway, will update the site daily with our pics and stories...tomorrow we'll leave for Hearst Castle for a tour and will drive into Vallejo tomorrow night. It might be a long day, but Greg and I will both be up for driving. Sure wish we had ourselves a Convoy with the whole darn family!! We miss everyone...stay tuned. Luv Ya!!

What great music! I love all of them, well maybe not so much the rap, but the rest are wonderful! I might try sending one of the paper dolls to Somerset I'll have to see if I can get one uploaded. Still Having problems with that. I think you and I are maybe the only ones visiting the site...... Love it.

You route for the trip looks great. We drove that route many a time when we lived in San Luis Obispo, long time ago suppose it looks alot different. You have to take alot of pictures and post them when you get back. There is some fabulous scenery on that route. Have a safe and wonderful trip.

I'm here...working all day on taxes :-( No fun for me...yet. No ATCs, no paper dolls, no altered nothing! Tuesday we leave for the Bay area. Weather is now showing rain...cross your fingers..you know how those weathermen are! See the overview of our route below. We'll pick-up Gilda in Canoga Park and continue on and stay our first night in Pismo Beach. Next day we'll hit Hearst Castle and then a straight shot to Vallejo. Should be a beautiful drive. We'll do Fisherman's Wharf, Golden Gate...the usual suspects. We'll leave again on Saturday and stay somewhere that night (need to figure that out) and then hit the home stretch on Sunday.

I'm hoping to get my Feb ATCs done while in Vallejo...and maybe March?? I can't wait to hit the road! Will keep you posted...what's everyone else working on? BTW...Mom-those paper dolls are FABULOSO!!!! I told you via email that you could get published with those! I'm not joking! Submit them to Somerset mag!

Hello! Anyone out there???

I wish we had alittle more activity going. Everyone is busy, but would sure be nice to stay connected. I've been playing alot with paper dolls and having fun with those. Now I'm doing a few projects for Christmas, course can't share those.. they are for Christmas! Have a few more paper dolls to share. Anyone else doing anything?? I also have a couple of March ATCs. has anyone else made any?

Paper Doll

My first altered paper doll. Not as pretty as the ones I played with as a kid.
